Welcome to the Wallenberg Laboratory for Cardiovascular and Metabolic Research!

Our mission is to undertake basic and clinical research relevant to the understanding of obesity, cardiovascular disease and related metabolic disorders, kidney diseases and cancer. The Wallenberg Laboratory is located within the Sahlgrenska University Hospital, Gothenburg, Sweden. The lab hosts around 130 researchers and other staff within 15 research groups with a wide range of skills and expertise. We are a part of the Institute of Medicine at the University of Gothenburg.
